Mining of Silica Sand
Silica Sand is the most hardness mineral on the earth surface, it's important in industrial manufacturing process because of its unique specifications.

BMS mines of quartz and silica Sand is one of the few locations in the country located in central and Northwestern regions of Saudi Arabia, capable for mining and producing and processing high pure grades of quartz and silica sand (99.5 % SiO2) suitable for water treatment filtration media and many other industrial uses, with ability of minimum annual production of more than 220,000 Mt/year.

Silica Sand and quartz Gravel are naturally rounded from glacial deposits. They are usually found as unconsolidated deposits below thin layers of soil and overburden. After quarrying, the sand often undergoes considerable processing before sale.

Manufacturing of Quartz Gravel and Silica Sand
BMS processing may include washing and cleaning of the grains, sizing to remove coarse and very fine fractions, and physical and chemical processes to remove iron, chromium and other deleterious minerals. After processing, the material oven dried and some applications required it to be grinded into ball mills.

Usage of Silica Sand
BMS ensures excellent durability and high quality; the variety of different grades of sands may used as filtration media or to increase the efficiency of the oil well and this material can be used for more than 50 different industries.

Mining of Calcium Carbonate
Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3) is a hard alkaline earth metal and it's the fifth most abundant in the Earth’s crust which could be formed as lime stone or white marble. BMS as per the requirement of the customer high purity lumps of calcium carbonate are selected from our white marble mines located in the West Region of Saudi Arabia or off-white lime stone from our quarry in eastern region, and after necessary testing approved lumps are sent to our factories for industrial processing.

Manufacturing of Calcium Carbonate:
BMS Calcium Carbonate Produced by crushing, grinding, and classifying high purity of crushed pure white marble chips or off-white limestone at manufacturing ratio of more than 280,000 Mt of Calcium Carbonate annually. Which used as a row material for more than 60 different industries.
